These records show that you take good care of your home.

For the prospective buyer’s convenience, also keep records of:

·         Real estate taxes

·         Electricity, gas, and water bills

Instruction Manuals

Collect all instruction manuals for the large appliances in your home. Even before a buyer makes up his mind, it is reassuring for him to know the manuals are available for appliances that are included in the home. If you have extended warranties for any of them, offer to pay the small fee that is usually required to turn over the warranty to a new owner.

Home Pictures

You are proud of your home, so don’t keep its beauty a secret.

Think of how your home looks during the seasons. If you have any pictures of your home when the garden is in bloom or when the front yard was covered in snow, put them up on the refrigerator or other conspicuous place.
